About Jorden Harms...
Born in Omaha, Nebraska and now based out of the Yampa Valley in Colorado, Jorden Harms has spent nearly two decades writing and performing music that feels both familiar and timeless. Rooted deeply in Americana with threads of folk-rock and country, his songs animate life’s experiences, the simple, the heavy, and the beautiful, with sincerity and craft.
Influenced by storytellers like James Taylor, Jim Croce, Jimmy Buffett, and Gordon Lightfoot, Jorden’s music carries that same open-road honesty and melodic warmth. He’s a multi-instrumentalist, playing guitar, electric and stand-up bass, drums, and even a self-styled kick drum–bass combo. While he’s known for his guitar work and songwriting, Jorden has also toured, recorded, and worked on various projects, including as the bass player for Wordan Jilson & The Wild Bunch, and touring with Bar Jay Bar as bassist, lead guitarist, vocalist, and drummer.
Jorden has been featured on tracks with Merideth Moon, Charlie Marks, and Bar Jay Bar, and his own songs are available on all major streaming platforms. In 2025, he was voted Best of the Boat for Solo Artist in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, a reflection of his connection to the local community and his dedication to the craft.
Whether on stage with a full band or alone with a guitar, Jorden Harms plays for the joy of it... for the stories, the shared smiles, and the moments that remind us why music matters.
